Gentle Home Yoga Home Practice for Pregnancy and Postnatal Period
Yoga practice suitable for pregnancy and postnatal period. If you have Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) and find it increases your symptoms to sit in 'ease pose' / crossed legs, please refrain from doing this. You can sit in alternative position; - with your legs extended whilst your hips are raised on a block/cushion/blanket, - in hero pose (knees bent with a block/cushion/rolled up blanket inbetween the heels of your feet. Ensure your knees are together. This will protect your hips and pelvis. If it is not comfortable to take this practice on the floor, make yourself comfortable on your bed or a chair. If you choose it sit on a chair, just ensure your knees are inline with your hips. If they are lower, you can add blocks/books under your feet. If you choose to do this in bed, just allow yourself to sit comfortably. If you feel any pain or discomfort at any point during this practice, please stop. Sending you love and peace - always Kelly 💕 ☀️ 💕 My apologies for the poor quality of this - filmed in self isolation with love from me to you.

Short Postnatal Yoga Sequence
My goodness, filming is a real skill...this is take #562 🙈 A super short postnatal sequence to help stretch and strengthen the upper back, chest & shoulders. Those hardworking areas really take on a lot postnatally so this helps to release some of that tension. You can use these movements and take them at your own pace. You must have clearance from your GP or doctor before undertaking any exercise during the postpartum period.
